Aurigami’s Papermill — Opening Soon (Part 2)

Aurigami’s Papermill will open for production, right after PLY’s Token Genesis Event (TGE) 🎉
The Papermill is a game of patience, endurance, and resilience — where PLYers showcase their HODLing skills to edge out one another. Will you come out on top?
PLY Hyper Production
To celebrate its grand opening, The Papermill will be set to “BRRRRRRR” mode in the first few weeks, where PLY production will enter into hyper-production, granting PLYers the chance to earn moaarrr PLY.
Over time, PLY production will gradually settle into a steady churn as we move towards the latter days. By Week 52, all 4 billion PLY allocated for liquidity mining (including premining) will have been released fully.
PLY lovers who are keen on accumulating should take note, and partake in The Papermill as soon as possible during the early days of hyper-production.
Should I claim or should I HODL?
“Will you, can you resist the temptation of an immediate pleasure for more explosive returns later?”
The name of the game is HODLing.
Remember, all PULP mature and can be transformed 1:1 into PLY on the 77th Week. Hasty claims means you will receive more PULP than PLY, leading to a longer wait on PULP maturation.
Case 1
Alice mines 100 PLY by Week 1, including premine rewards. If she were to claim, she would receive 5 PLY and 95 PULP (5% PLY, 95% PULP).Alice continues to farm and mines another 50 PLY by Week 4. If she were to make another claim in Week 4, she would receive 5.5 PLY and 44.5 PULP (11% PLY, 89% PULP).
Case 2
Bob mines 200 PLY by Week 48, including premine rewards. If he were to claim, he would receive 198 PLY and 2 PULP. (98% PLY, 2% PULP)
In both cases, Alice and Bob above will be free to trade both PLY and PULP after claiming. For all intents and purposes, PULP can be thought of as a voucher to claim for PLY at a future date (i.e. on the 77th Week).
In the early days, PULP will likely be trading at a heavy discount to PLY, which means Aurigamists will be able to enter into a favorable long position on PLY by purchasing PULP. As we move closer towards PULP maturation date, the price gap between PULP and PLY should close.
The unique system of The Papermill supercharges Aurigami’s token unlock with gamification that is centered around game theory, with PULP essentially enabling and representing liquidity for locked-PLY. This allows PLYers unfettered flexibility and autonomy in choosing how to best strategize your assets.
This structure of reward distribution heavily incentivizes delayed gratification — the longer you HODL, the greater the rewards. Ironically, this means that the biggest paperhands will also be the ones getting the least PLY, although there might be scenarios where you might want to obtain PLY early for more strategic deployment…
Ultimately, the choice is yours on how you want to play at The Papermill.
